Dr Anne-Katrin Meyer

Anne-Katrin Meyer studied chemistry at the University of Rostock, where she obtained a degree from the Institute of Analytical Chemistry with a thesis on the optimisation of an amperometric hydrogen sulphide sensor. She then worked at the Institute of Inorganic and Applied Chemistry at the University of Hamburg, where she obtained her doctorate with a thesis in the field of trace analysis. Upon obtaining her doctorate, she continued her research at the Institute of Inorganic and Applied Chemistry at the University of Hamburg in the field of environmental and trace analysis and was involved in international research projects – including as scientific director.

A move to a company that develops and sells generic drugs followed in 2004. Alongside intellectual property law, her spheres of activity included the scientific supervision of development projects. At the beginning of 2008, Anne-Katrin Meyer started working as a patent specialist at a large German patent attorney firm. She has been an employee of the law office of Hamm&Wittkopp Partnerschaftsgesellschaft since 2016.
